Questions
Do I need to be able to play already?+
No. Plenty of students book their first lesson before they have played a single note. Bring a whistle (a D whistle is ideal) and we start from how to hold it.
What do I need for an online lesson?+
A whistle, a laptop, tablet or phone with a camera, and a quiet room. Headphones help. The lesson runs in your browser from the link in your confirmation email.
How do I pay?+
You pay your teacher directly, not through the website. Nothing is charged when you book; the payment details are in your confirmation email.
Do I need an account?+
Booking sets up a free Tin Whistle Tab account for you. We email you a link to confirm your address and your lesson in one click. Signing in with Google books instantly.
What if I need to cancel or move my lesson?+
Use the link in your confirmation email to cancel at any time before the lesson, then pick a new time. The slot opens up for someone else straight away.
Which timezone are the times in?+
Yours. The calendar detects your timezone automatically and you can change it above the times if you are travelling.
