The Otter’s Holt (also called The Otter’s Nest or Poll an Mhadra Uisce) is a driving B minor reel that has become a modern session standard. It uses the full two-octave range of the D whistle with plenty of triplet runs — a rewarding challenge once the first octave feels secure.
