Orki, I need your help! I just bought 2 Dixon High D's, a DX005 & DX006. Neither will play G# in the high octave. Any advice? Thank you.

Hi Mike! It is definitely a difficult note to hit right. You need to try different ways of fingering + breathing to hit this note with a specific whistle. I manged to play it with the DX005 as written so you can try playing with the air preasure or try to also cover the last hole as well (like so xxoxxx) you could also try half-covering the third hole (banding the G half tone up xx◐ooo) Let me know how did it go :) good luck!

Banding the G half tone up xx◐ooo is what seems to work best. I have an Wild Irish that will hit the note perfectly, but the Dixon's that I purchased straight from the company struggle. Thank you for your help.
